GripSense Brush uses your information only to run your profile, show your brushing and squeeze test history, and create reports that you choose to share.
We store the account details you enter, including first name, last name, email address, and a protected password hash. We also store brushing-session readings, grip force estimates, Weak / Comfortable / Excessive summaries, squeeze test readings, dates, times, trends, and report data generated from those readings.
When you connect the toothbrush, the app reads sensor messages from the device so it can display live brushing force, save session history, and save squeeze test results. The app does not use Bluetooth to collect unrelated device information.
Your data is used to keep separate profiles on this device, calculate brushing force, classify readings, show trends, generate graphs, and create a report for a doctor or caregiver if you decide to send one. The app does not use your data for advertising, tracking, or data broker activity.
Your profile and grip history are stored locally in the app on this device. GripSense Brush does not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information. Reports are shared only when you tap Send Report and choose where to send them. After you share a report, the selected recipient or service handles that copy outside the app.
Grip force readings may be sensitive health-related information. They are provided to help you and your doctor review brushing force and maximum grip trends, but they are not a diagnosis, treatment plan, or replacement for professional medical advice.
Passwords are stored as hashes instead of plain text. You should still protect access to this device because local app data can be viewed by anyone who can unlock the device and open the app. You can sign out, use separate profiles, delete saved sessions, and control whether to share reports.
